What is the deal with this crazy storm?
Since no one seems to know what to do other than stock-up and pray and we're all sitting like ducks on the pond awaiting the rain and 90-mph wind, we are left to post random thoughts that either mention the storm, named Sandy, or post some other lyrical ties to the terrible storm named by the meteorologists and hopefully, to be retired forever.
So, we went from Springsteen's "Sandy" - 4th of July Asbury Park to the Allman Brothers Band and Eric Clapton doing "Stormy Monday." One commentator suggested we post The Doors doing "Riders on the Storm," which I will do when I get around to it after this storm hits NJ/NY/LI/CT and Mass.
Just hope I have some power.
Just hope I have some power.
In the meantime? I give you a Crazy Horse.
Check out the clip around 3:40 ... with Crazy Horse band member, keyboard Frank "Pancho" Sampedro donning the of the Montreal Canadians sweater extraordinaire <Nos bras meurtris vous tendent le flambeau, à vous toujours de le porter bien haut>
Great clip from the 1978 Rust Never Sleeps film, directed by Neil Young.
