This weekend, the NFL will venture to Wembley which will play host to the NFL International Bowl featuring the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos.
The London-based tabs are reporting that tickets, usually in the 200 (EURO) level are going for a low of L31. Meanwhile, tickets for the "not so marquee" NBA matchup of the Toronto Raptors vs. New Jersey Nets in March are going for no less that L51 with floor seats as high as L1,000.
Surprisingly, finding a preview of the big NFL game in London is about as hard as catching the latest curling news in Haiti. You can bet your Oliver Holts and Alan McKinleys will be on site, though, but they will cover a grand total of two games this year. The London game and the Super Bowl.

The BIG surprise, to me at least, was the hyping of Marissa Miller over that of the actual competition in London. Online at NFL.com - the league editors chose to roll with stories on the Dallas Cowboys, Brett Favre and the Vikings, the Detroit Lions' Barry Sanders and Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers as the headliners, and buried a story on the SF 49ers' quarterback situation.
