The six-member media consortium sponsoring a gubernatorial debate in late October has moved the event a day earlier, to avoid a conflict with the Boston Celtics' season-opener against the Miami Heat at the TD Garden.
The consortium, which includes the Globe, originally selected Tuesday, Oct. 26 for its second and final debate among the candidates. The debate will now take place on Monday, Oct. 25.
All four candidates -- Governor Deval Patrick, Republican Charles D. Baker, independent Timothy P. Cahill, and Green-Rainbow candidate Jill Stein -- will participate in the debate.
