My best goes out to the players, coaches and staff of USA Basketball. Congratulations on the gold medals in men's and women's basketball. You all deserve it.
My sincere congratulations and true feelings of good sportsmanship and respect go out to all of the other Olympians as well. Spain played a tough final game and Argentina won the bronze over a very good Lithuanian team. All of the other competitors deserve special mention and credit, as well.
But for now, here's to the gold medalists. It was a long three-year journey for this team and the result was golden.
