The great moments of anticipation in Sport: Five minutes before Final 4 Saturday at the mens NCAA tournament ... Overtime in a Stanley Cup playoff game, never mind if it is a series clinching game or a Stanley Cup Finals game ... Kick-off of the Super Bowl ... Introductions and the first few minutes of any NBA Finals game ... The trip out to the track at the Breeders Cup ... 11:59 am edt on the first Thursday of the NCAAs ... Big East Friday night at The Garden ... the change-over before a Fifth set tie-breaker at the US Open, which would come right after a player fought off three set points ... lining up a putt on 18 to win the Masters at Augusta ... the time between the bronze medal going over someones head and the playing of the National Anthem of the Gold Medal winner's country.
I will be lucky enough to experience one of the items in the first list above. Wrigley Field on a summer Saturday afternoon. But, the key? From a rooftop.
