As a follow-up to a prior post, I wanted to note that Brazil went 5-0 and won the gold medal of the Pan Am Games with an 86-65 thrashing of Puerto Rico at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The United States team finished fifth.
Do me one favor? The next time someone says, "they should bring the college kids" to play in the World Championship or the Olympics, please tell that certain someone to wake up. Print the boxscores from every Pan Am Games tournament, dating back to 1983 and call me in the morning.
