T's #Tweet of Today: The term "Gerrymandering"
T's #Tweet of the Day - a regular feature on the @terrylyons Twitter feed - pointed the finger of fate at former US Veep (under James Madison) Eldridge Gerry, who opposed the political party system and often worked across all party lines in a bi-partisan manner, is the man behind the political strategy of drawing up voting district lines with the greatest possibility of winning the vote for the district, thus the term: "Gerrymandering."
