A quick update on the news from Eurobasket 2007...Lithuania defeated Greece and won the bronze medal at Eurobasket and a trip to Beijing for next summer's Olympic Games. Russia and Spain will play for the Gold as each have already had their visas punched for a trip to China.
Meanwhile, Great Britain Basketball defeated their Swiss rivals and will advance to the A level of European national basketball with a chance to qualify for the 2010 world championship at some point down the road. See Ian Whittell's commentary in The Times by clicking on the headline above.
