Ramble On ... Pitino

Earlier today, the NY Daily news reported Rick Pitino was having "his people" contact the "NJ Nets people" to feel out a future job opportunity as Nets coach. The news coming, somewhat coincidentally, as St. John's played host to Pitino's Louisville Cardinals.

I have this advice for Pitino:

"Lavern Tart ain't comin' through that door... Jim Ard ain't comin' through that door ... Ollie Taylor ain't comin' through that door ... Billy "The Whopper" Paultz ain't coming through that door, never mind the door won't swing open for the likes of Julius Erving, Brian Taylor, Buck Williams or Jason Kidd.

Forget it, Rick.  Try St. John's instead, and maybe a Walter Berry might come through the door.
