Saw this and thought I would pass it along and credit the Boston.com site:
Ayla Brown -- the Wrentham native / Boston College hoopster / American Idol contestant -- belted out the National Anthem before tonight's pivotal Game 7. We haven't tracked down the exact figures yet, but the word around the press area is that the Celtics may be undefeated when she sings the anthem (we know for sure they won opening night against the Cavaliers when she was in attendance).
Maybe Brown will become to the Celtics what Rene Rancourt is for the Bruins.
Maybe we'll book her for the next Country Music night at J..O..T..Side?
