Banned in Boston: I will be attending this function at the House of Blues tonight:
Tim Geithner will sing about the secret of his economic stimulus plan. Dick and Lynne Cheney will discuss the benefits of the Snuggie for holding back socialists. Bernie Madoff will mourn the loss of his dear old Ponzi. It could happen. It will happen, sort of, at tonight's Banned in Boston when Broadway actress, and Needham native, Nancy Anderson performs with Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton, Governor and Mrs. Patrick, Attorney General Martha Coakley, Mayor Menino, and other local notables. The fund-raiser benefits Urban Improv's violence prevention programs for Boston kids. 6 p.m. cocktails and dinner, 7:30 p.m. show. $200, $100 under age 40. House of Blues, 15 Lansdowne St., Boston. 617-524-7049. www.urbanimprov.org
