Front Office Sports Seminar at Johnnies this Wed.

Bloomberg Sports is staging a special, invitation only seminar for all Boston-area media, baseball bloggers and invited guests at West End Johnnie's in Boston next WEDNESDAY, MAY 25.  You are invited to attend to talk baseball, analytics and the business of sport.  The event is free, by invitation only and will be held from 5-8:00 p.m.  The Bruins at Tampa Bay NHL game at Tampa will begin at 8pm.
Bloomberg Sports Bill Squadron will host the event and he will be be joined by former MLB pitching coach Rick Peterson and other special guests who will take you through Bloomberg's tools that they have created and are now implementing with MLB clubs, players and with fans through their "Front Office" fantasy tools. Peterson will show how teams use the online tools in player evaluation and development, and you will get a one-time look into the product that is state of the art in terms of baseball analytics.

You will also get the opportunity to download and evaluate Bloomberg's consumer tool (Front Office) for the rest of the baseball season.

The event is open to media, bloggers and interested parties, and is transferable to others within an affiliation.  (Johnnies is located at 138 Portland Street, one block from North Station T and the TD Garden.)

Please RSVP to BBSports@bloomberg.net

** Front Office Baseball 2011 syncs with your fantasy league, and knows your players and your scoring settings. So all its recommendations are customized just for you. Front Office also has a Free Agent Finder that recommends available players in your league and a Lineup Manager that helps with those daily decisions of who to start and who to bench. Both tools show how each move affects your stats.
