NBA Buries NY-NJ Basketball...

It's official. Basketball in the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area is officially dead. The New York Knickerbockers and the New Jersey Nets, the city's two professional teams, were ranked at #29 and #30, respectively, by the league's official online site, by its league-hired columnist John Schuhmann.

Now, throw in the fact that St. John's and Seton Hall are totally in the tank in the BIG EAST and what do you have?

Hockey season in NYC and NJ.
