Edwards is a shark. For years his firm has preyed on insurance companies, doctors and hospitals with baseless and shameful litigation, making himself very rich in the process. He is your classic ambulance chaser rolled up in a $3000 suit and a $500 haircut.

ReplyDeleteAn anonymous post from an O-Ba-Ma fan makes me curious as to who would put forth a nice line of support to a worthy candidate but choose not to identify him or herself.

I will say, though, that if the Senator from Illinois gets the nomination at the Democratic National Convention, the entire party will mobilize in his support. I have no problem at all if that days comes.
I do support John Edwards fully at this point in time.
To my opinionated Republican poster, I must reply that I hope the rest of America does not choose its candidate based on the style of his hair.
I ask?
Did the lawyer named Edwards defend his client and fight?
Is that something that is wrong?
Will he fight for a better America and a better life for the middle class of this country?
Yes.

I will say that Edwards could be bald for all I care, so you missed my point.
ReplyDeleteHe tries relating to the common man, but when you live in a mansion and
get a $500 haircut, you lose me. It is the typical limousine liberal
approach -- raise taxes so I can give more freebies and handouts while I
sit in my ivory tower never having to worry about struggling in day to
day life.
As far as Edwards fighting the fight -- when there is no justification
for the fight outside of greed and lining one's pockets, no matter how
hard you fight -- it is still wrong. It hurts doctors and hospitals and
hard working people, not to mention driving up the cost of insurance
because of these frivolous claims that a slick lawyer can slant one way
to line his pockets and get his clients some money. But there should be
no poetic license in legal world, and unfortunately, these types of
lawyers have a hard time distinguishing right from wrong when big bucks
are involved.. I can point to numerous examples of this on all sides of
the spectrum, and we have a VP who "fights the fight" in Iraq but that
fight is misguided and wrong, as he, too, is laughing all the way to the bank.
This is a bit of a ramble since I need to close up shop in the next few minutes, but wanted to add a rebuttal.
